i have chatted to the ATC who filmed this (in canberra). apparently the pilots wanted rwy 35 but couldn't get it for some reason, and therefore had to sit for 15 minutes burning fuel in order to use 17. i cant, for the life of me figure out why they needed to do that, or why they didnt just use the taxiway for 17.
