I remember seeing footage of the real thing in '91 when Milosevic made his abortive attempt to invade Slovenia. A Serb tank cooking off even more spectacularly. 30-ft flames roaring out of every hatch.
I believe Slovenia can only be reached from the East by a few roads through narrow mountain passes. Very easy to defend. Slovenia was just about the only former Yugo republic not invaded.
