What do you think about dating a best friend or a friend who you are close with?


You have a friend who you're always with, who you share your feelings and emotions with. You're always there for each other physically, emotionally, mentally. You trust each other and overtime you kinda just fall for each other. Eventually someone is going to like the other person. So you start thinking to yourself, "you know what, if we went out this would be a good relationship".


But to be honest falling for your best friend would be a good thing but it could also be a bad thing. When it comes to dating a best friend there's TWO outcomes and they're both to the extremes. It could be really really really good or it could be really really really bad. Usually there's no in betweens in friendships. It's that old saying "does the risk out way the benefit"?


What's the benefit of being in a relationship with this person? Well that's your best friend, it's like a fairy tale. I think one of the best relationships is a relationship with a friend that can actually last. You guys get together and you just make it, kinda like a fairy tale. You go out with your best friend, everything is good until it's not good and you guys eventually break up. And that usually happens more often than you think.


When you break up you lose connection with that person. When you talk, it's not the same and you don't just lose your boyfriend or girlfriend but you also lose one of your close friends.


So why risk a close friendship?

Nah she purposely wont let me close. She's told me I'll never be as close as girls are to her, cause she hates guys. Cant blame her for they've done to her, and honestly tired of going after girls and getting hurt. Maybe I'm just meant to have a best friend.

awww i went out with a bestie before... it was long distance.we broke up nd are still close but not as close as we used to be. I used to be able to tell him EVERYTHING now its kinda awward. we grew up together and all.
