  • Aghhhh, everytime i watch it I weep for this child, It's so great to hear he is doing well as we were both the same age when this tragedy happened. Poor kid.

  • Oh My, my heart goes out to this little boy. (Now a young man) How can the people who hate our country, laugh, make fun, and be mean to this sweet little boy crying because he has no father? He didn't deserve his father being taken away from him. He just misses his dad.

  • It's also on hulu--it took some searching. They are all wonderful children; their parents would be so proud.

  • The most recent video with the other 9/11 Wish Kids and Kevin can be found on the Today Show video player page. Youtube won't let me post the link, but you can find it on September 9th's Broadcast

  • @BillyBingo Can that recent video be found anywhere? I tried looking it up and can't find it.

  • OMG! I just saw this for the first time during the memorials this weekend. I cried like a baby. I would like to tell the Hickey family how moved I am by their father's and all the firefighters' courage on that day. But I would also like to know how Kevin is doing. Kevin, if you see this, I hope you and your family are well and happy. If you are in college, I would like to pay for one of your textbooks or if you prefer, donate to a charity to benefit families of fallen firefighters.

  • My dad knew Brian Hickey.

  • I hope Kevin sees this or atleast watches it when hes older. If you do see this Kevin I hope you realize the impact your dad had on the FDNY and the fire service as a whole. I know you were young at the time and didnt really understand things like that, but youe dad may be one of the best known and most decorated firefighters, mor importantly capatains, there ever were and ever will be. Please know that he will never be forgotten and will always be our brother. He continues to watch over his men
