You cannot reference the Greek when discussing the bible. You MUST reference the Hebrew. The bible is a Hebrew book written by Hebrew people (not Jew-ish mind you).
You must understand the word "God" in the Hebrew language + reference the prophets. There is absolutely NO WAY that Yahshua is the Most High. Get out of the so-called "New Testament" and read the Tanach and the Prophets.

After learning the real trinity not the modalist stuff that nontrinitarians are taught to combat the trinity I now believe John 1:1 arguments are stupid on both sides. Trinitarians you really want to argue that Jesus is never called something that the father is called(1 Samuel 2:3)? Don't you believe he's equal in every way? For nontrinitarians it's already revealed that both of them have the god title so the argument is moot on your end as well. I'm an associate of JW's whose leaving 1:1 argue/

We don't know who Jesus is really that is why there are all kinds of crazy talk among Arian Unitarians, Socinian Unitarians Functionalist Trinitarians Gradationist Trinitarians, Modalists-Sabellianists, Polytheists who all call themselves Christians. Jews claim that he is Yhwh. Thomas calls him Lord&God.

The Jews accuse him of making himself equal to God what did they mean by this? that he was claiming to be Yhwh's equal in power age and divinity? Or is the Messiah a Man not God or godlike. But Jesus says I AM Ego Eimi what does this mean that he is the Messiah or Yhwh himself in the Flesh who i also called "Ego Eimi" in the Septuagint Yhwh is called "Ego Eimi ho on" did Jesus say that he was "Ego Eimi ho on" in John? No. Is he another type of Ego Eimi as in the Messiah or Ego Eimi Yhwh?

God the second hypostases of the Trinity who Incarnated as the Son sharing the Divine being with the father or Jesus the pre-existent being/person the only born son and therefore divine or godlike? Or what God was the Word was. How are we to know what Scripture means in John 1:1 when we can derive all kinds of meanings fro this verse alone. John 1:1 reads "In eternity the second person of the Trinity Jesus was, and Jesus was with God the Father the first person of Trinity and Jesus was God just like the Father or Jesus was God the Father. Or in the beginning of all creative acts the Word was, and the Word was with The God(Yhwh) and the Word was a hypostases of (Yhwh) or "divine like the Father" or "a god" (a second god) or the Word was with the Elohim (the Celestial Deity) and Word was Elohim(Celestial Deity).
