The "iPhone Nano" that you're thinking of that's just not in North America is probably the CECT KA08+. It's a smaller version of their iPhone knock-off. I'm wondering if it wouldn't be possible to use the app store software on a nano version if it had a higher resolution screen - smaller size but with the same number of pixels and sensor spots might not be a problem for the existing software.

there is an iphone nano!!! just not in north america, there is no app store access. it is very straight foward.

fyi, apple announced that they are releasing a new one every year, there WILL be a new one announced in June at apple's WWDC, not IPHONE MACWORLD, there is no such thing as IPHONE MACWORLD,
