@juliemulie345 It wouldn't be becasue of you. If she did, it would be because she was in the perect conditions to develop something lie that. My friends all had major issues too. one was bipolar, one cut...they had family issues...So it would NEVER be your fault.

@nilorac123321 I know what you mean I just feel guilty. I mean I've had anorexia for 6 years and bulimia for 5 and my older sister last year started having strange eating habits. What if she develops an eating disorder because of me? Or one of my friends does.
-
@juliemulie345 actually, I have anorexia. and because my best friends were with me so much, they developed it too...so in a way they are.
sure, it's not "infection" but it can be developed through knowing or living with someone with an eating disorder
.....

@juliemulie345, that is not what she was really saying. The problem is simply that people consider others' behaviour and opinions and if they are exposed to people who do have bad habits that don't necessarily appear bad (i.e. eating healthy food), then they might adopt those habits in order to get the good results that appear to come from them.

There is nothing WRONG with salad and water? What?! There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
-
I don't think she meant eating disorders are contagious... just the being aware of what people eat... is probably contagious
-
