My grandmother had the Flambards sound-track album on LP, and I used to play this song so often, (I had a major crush on the woman on the front of the cover). This brings back memories! Thing is, I'm only 36, so would have been very young at the time.

Dear me.... I was 7 years old when this was first shown, am 39 now! Can still remember this theme tune 32 years later.... Where did all those years go!?!

@TeeVeeNZ The house was Sawley Hall, Sawley, near Ripon. If you Google it you should find a recent brochure for the house which has been for sale (asking £10 million). Must say I loathe what has been done to the house... It was used as an orphanage during the war, which is quite appropriate.
