Andrés Segovia. hombre amado y odiado a la vez; yo mismo me he encontrado en ambos bandos, sin embargo es impresionante verlo tocar tan lucidamente bien a esa edad.. increible!!

Sorry to be a debby downer here but I think this is not one of Segovia's best moments. The left hand is clearly suffering (there are a lot of squeaking notes and a few missed altogether) and the sound is not as good as it was when he was a little younger. Also I think the intonation of the guitar could be a little better. This would never work if he wasn't Segovia!
That said, I'm a great fan, but I think sometimes people selectively listen to the good aspects only!

Yes. LOL! Segovia is my favorite guitarist! I missed a chance to see him in New Orleans once, possible the last time he was in the U.S. It would have been a 5 hour trip; looking back I should have crawled down there if I had to, in order to see the great maestro!
Ahhh Yes.. I remember now why I watch youtube... to see talent like this :))
Thumbs up if you agree ??

He is the Grand Master of all the Maestros. We owe his great respect and gratitude for all that he did to promote the guitar to a fully accepted classical instrument.
