  • my dogs get really bad. they lock on each other and they hurt each other very badly. currently one of my dogs has 2 scars on her head from when the bigger one attacked her. the other one has her foot cut open and its very bloody. my parents hav gotten bitten. my dads pinky needed stitches. and my moms hand just got punctured. any advice?

  • thats a good video but when i was searching this topic i was trying to learn how to separate dogs fighting when one of the dogs has locked on to the other dog and wont let go .... most of the time u see people bashing them over the head beating them and that never works as far as ive seen ... ive heard spraying them with a hose will stop the fight is this true....

  • Best thing to do is grab them by the scruff and pull them apart and hold them until they calm down. Then lay them on their sides next to each other (which causes them to submit to each other) and keep them like this for a minute or so. If they hold slap them on the top of their heads.

  • Those dogs sure do look vicious....

  • this helped alot

  • In the end, I constructed two dog runs in my back yard, and each of the two dogs that fight get placed outside with others in separate areas that they don't fight with.

  • What you do is largely dependent on several factors. I have some Aussies and Aussie/Border Collie mixes. Most everyone gets along, with the exception of my two oldest males (3 & 4 years). When they fight, it gets serious. My dogs are never, ever aggressive to me, so in one instance when I couldn't get one to release the other, I stuffed my left arm into his mouth. I DO NOT recommend this in most circumstances. I felt confident he would release, and he did. Situations differ.

  • @pinoybalot5 it works depending on the type of dog and the intensity of the fight. if the fight is routine then if your dog was a dog belonging to a cold climate you would throw warm water at it. however this gets old and you will have to do as my other comment dictates.

  • i have two male dogs and they constantly fight over food or attention. a good thing to do is to create a symbol of fear. in a fierce dog fight dogs will ignore all surroundings so you have to get their attention. a mild kick to the head of the aggressor and a lit piece of newspaper works for me. depending on where you live and your neighbors, firing blanks into the air also does the trick although you have to beat a bit after so that they understand.

  • I have to choke my dogs until they let go.
