The seventh in a series of videos exploring the Tanach (Hebrew Bible).
The Book of Numbers or Sefer Bamidbar is the fourth book of the Tanach and the fourth book of the Torah. The Hebrew name is taken from first verse where it states The Lord spoke to Moses in the Sinai Desert. Bamidbar means in the wilderness and refers to Mount Sinai. The English title Numbers is derived from the Greek of the Septuagint, referencing the numbering of the Israelites in the wilderness of Sinai and later on the plain of Moab.

I read once somewheres that skilled bedouans knew how to get water from select rocks by striking. And that G-d's displeasure with Moshe was he failed to fully rely on G-d to provide as He decided.

It seems that I have also heard that about the Bedouins.
Yes, part of it was the Moshe did not fully depend upon Hashem. Part was that he became angry and part of it was the he gave himself credit (the second time) instead of Hashem.
