  • @LMcfield12 I'm not sure but it quit when the announcement "of loss of power".. sounded like the engine was started at that point

  • @LMcfield12 I am an a320 pilot currently for jetblue and to explain why the tv's stop showing and pulled up is because most jetliners have a APU Auxillary Power Unit and these are used to start the engines and power the flight controlls in the cockpit now the engines take so much power to start up that it had to take the power from non important factors such as tv's to start engine and when fuel starts to get in the engine it no longers needs the APU power thus sending the power back to the tv's

  • @cristof1357 Thanks for explaining....................­....I have a question for you, on an AJ A320 flight I noticed they did a brake release takeoff and it was like I was pasted to the seat and inside the cabin was so windy. Is this normal for brake release takeoffs or was the cabin not pressurised /enough?

  • how did you hold your camera so that the flight attendants do not see you. I want to record in a few weeks but I am paranoid that the FA will see me and yell at me or something an you managed t get away with it

  • @busta4u No, that's jus the sudden movents of thrust from Idle up to full power or close to full power, u cant take of in an unpressurised jetliner

  • @busta4u LOL. I am an A330 pilot, and the real reason this happened is that instead of the aircraft being powered by the APU, once the engines are started that power is provided by the engines. So in that split second there is a power transfer from APU to engines, thus the power is being generated by the engines and not the Auxiliray Power Unit.

  • @busta4u it was the geforce of the aircraft pushing against you giving you that feeling on the climb rate and brake release takeoffs are uncommon due to the fact that in the US most runways are long enough for standard takeoff but it all depends on weather faster the aircraft on takeoff the more the plane slices through turbulence was it windy or any bad weather prior to the flight
