Oh I agree with you. Linda went through some hard times in the 80's with Paul after John died. It has been said at one point she was thinking about leaving Paul..but he seemed to have straighten up and got help for his issues.

So my question to you gfine2000 is just how did Linda inspire this song for Paul. It's not often that a woman inspires her man to write a song you know. You can't put it over her head that she wrote this song for him. I'm simply saying that Paul lived to inspire us and future generations to have positive relationships and such.

Well, that's a good way of putting it on Linda's part but anyone whose been in a long term relationship can vouch for that. Linda did inspire this song for Paul and that's very cool but for anyone to believe that being with someone for a long time or married is the perfect, happy life is only diluting themselves and living in a fantasy world. Everyone's got their faults and imperfections, period! It's human nature to argue and disagree. You don't want to argue? Live alone! LOL!!!
