  • i moved out of evergreen because no one would believe me when one of those things kept terrorizing me..where about are you in evergreen..??

  • @carcarx42 Between downtown Evergreen and Kittredge.

  • I grew up in Evergreen and lived there for 17 years. I never once saw one. I heard them, found their tracks in our driveway and I am sure that they saw me, but I have never spotted one. Thanks for sharing!! Where abouts in Evergree was this taken?

  • ITS LIKE HAVING TIGERS AND LIONS OMFG... i would move away

  • @vitaminj45 the funny thing is at the Quality Inn parking lot (in Evergreen), it even has a sign near the edge (there's a drop-off) warning about bears and mountain lions. The hotel is northwest of Evergreen, by I-70. I didn't see one though.

  • You don't get along with them?

I had one for a friend,

    Kind of a dangerouse friend,

    but friend.

  • Wow, great video! I've been riding, running and hiking trails in Evergreen and Conifer since the 96 and haven't run into one yet. Although my wife and kids have seen them at our home--they always seem to elude me! Thanks for sharing.

  • there should be no reason not to believe that there are mountain lions in/around Evergreen (at least one, anyway). I thought it was doubtful myself until I saw one myself about 7-8 years ago. The only reason I haven't seen more, I think, is that I moved from Colorado in 2005. I spotted the animal on Yankee Creek Road, while driving up the hill at night.

  • Beautiful animal, I never realized their tails were so long.

  • It look like it has tracking devices mounted behind the ears. Great video!

  • @Kmbpeace It may have been radio collared by scientists to better understand its habits, territory, movements, etc.

  • What was on his ears appeared to be I think a yellow thing on one and green thing on the other? What does underfed? mean?

  • What was on his ears? I snapped pics of mountain lion tracks behind my apartment on trail in Colorado Springs.
