Yeah, I'm a veteran and I got an email job offer for one of these "green jobs". The email touts ten-plus hour days of back-breaking work for the "modest" MONTHLY stipend of $1387. But that's okay, because they only withhold $325 for FOOD! They don't even comp you food, for Chrissake!
They also promise you a $2675 "education award" (Apparently the GI Bill isn't good enough anymore) upon completion of 900 hours of service. That works out to a paltry $2.97 an hour. I think I'm gonna pass.
