@wizardangel Relocate me arse! EAT that critter! I hear they are tasty, same as those pretty bunnies you got.Dang! I love wabbits! So cheap to raise, and SOOO tasty. Too bad there's no fat in em, else you could live off em. Hence "Rabbit starvation", no fat. I don't know bout those armadillos though, do they have any fat in em? I would like to know in case I ever have to pass thru that way, as to what I can eat.Gosh you sure have a lot of critters around your way.

We definitely don't have 'dillos here in southern CA - but they sound like cool little critters if they're not tearing up your yard!
We're 'sposed to have Luna moths (sometimes called "loonies") here in CA but I've never seen one. We used to have Polyphemus moths in my area, but they've all but disappeared due to local urbanization, probably the same reason your Luna moths are gone. Still, there are lots of cool critters to see if you go a couple of miles out of town. Cheers! :-)

awsome site you have,,any Lunner moths around your area ? they were common here a long time ago, large icegreen wings 10 inches with big eye spots ,,I have not loaded another video on this critter yet,I even caught the sound ,,ever hear a guine pig chatter ,sounds almost the same,,these guys just rollup into a ball when unable to walk away ,and they can jump high and run fairly fast too,,those strong long front claws can do some damage tearing open fallen trees for grubs ,ect ,,very near sighted

not deaf, will respond to cats mewo ..these critters can't see directly ahead of themselves ,,eyes are set on side of skull and are very small..soils are warming but nite temps still well below normal and this critter more than likely a female with babies on the way..they sure make a mess of my veggies on summer nites !!cam'snot that great,,but it beats nothin !! I hope to catch and relocate this critter !! Those frount feet have big talons though-grab her by tail and drop in a cage to relocate !
