In just his second ever NBA game, Michael Jordan put on a classic "air" show. Filled with spectacular blocks, dunks and reverse hanging lay-ups, Jordan showed signs of things to come. There is a very rare alley oop dunk in the second half of this game and maybe Jordan's best ever fast break dunk -- a rock the cradle two-hand slam from just inside the foul line. Unbelievable...

Thanks to schea for uploading this game on M2.

  • The tenacity on both ends leaves me speechless....the guy was human...the energy consumption on both ends just tires me out...seriously...and to think there was one year where he avg 35ppg while shooting 53% and 3.3 stls per game and winning MVP, Def Player and a scoring title...gahhhlee..this guy is the total package...Kobe def has nothing on this guy...MJ just was more athletic and better overall..how many damn times am I going to emphasize on this Kobe is not seeing mj no way no how.

  • actually that wasn't a rock the cradle dunk...that was a reverse windmill going against his won weight....while jumping just inside of the free throw line. this dunk is one of if not the sickest dunks of all time

  • @waffleirontmacsplat it was a Windmill cradle :O

  • foul?? WTF man fuck that ref!!!

  • !!holly tolito!!

  • he is so good that even the ref dont understand that u can be that good

  • It's fascinating to see Jordan in the infancy of his reputation. It's like listening to Led Zeppelin in the winter of 1968-69. Before the hype, before he was "god disguised" as a human. You get to hear the raw reaction of the Bulls announcers as they witness Jordan inventing himself.

That being said, if you pause it at 1:22, you also get the crappiest camera work in the history of the NBA. I mean, WTF?

  • Due to low resolution, they all look like Jordan.

  • Who disliked this?

  • jordan walked in the air at the end! call a travel ref!

  • @fleis054 - Thats the old Mecca Arena. They tore part of it down and made it into a convention center. The Bucks moved to the current Bradley Center in the 90's.

  • Sick. Where were the Bucks playing their games in 1984? This looks like a county fair barn. Listening to the wave of excitement from the fans before the last dunk is simply amazing.
