tried this I got 2 different errors. One was could not load game the other was corrupt data. unfortunately I think sony thought of this.

actualy by using hex edit your tricking your psp by saying its an new firmware when its actually old but edited. when the update starts the psp detect it is an update who doesn't have same name so it will block install to avoid brick of psp. Sony sucks !!!
