    Anyway really nice build...

  • I designed it myself, basing it off the helicopter swashplate idea, but with a big hole in the middle for the thrust tube instead of a tiny hole for a heli's main shaft.

  • Do you have any movies on your latest work? also what fan and battery voltage did you use? (just curious)

  • Sorry, no new videos. This one uses a brushed GWS EDF64 and 3 cell Lipo. The brushed motor is inefficient and heavy. That's a big part of the reason it didn't fly, not enough thrust. A brushless motor is necessary for good performance.

  • oh i get it. that would be easy to make. just get 3 servos, a ducted fan plane and a toilet paper roll.
