@schpetz74 at least they eventually got out... some people in Washington, DC this past February never got out even with their Jeeps, not to mention they had no power and missed the Superbowl. Now that's a true defeat.

Gorgeous home and scenery. Where in Colorado is this? I live in Colorado Springs and we got over a foot with this storm over here on the west side. Problem was, our back yard and huge decks is shadowed by a bluff..in the shadows=snow doesn't melt for quite a while :(

@dragonblood199, well that doesn't tell me much. I have no idea how high snow would be if it were up to your chest. I guess it would depend upon your height. Plus, snow drifts are always higher than the real snowfall amounts. I live in upstate NY and we get more snow than just about anywhere in the U.S. Drifts of 5 feet are not uncommon. What year was this blizzard you're talking about in Colorado Springs?
