@thatdude199 Its true, you can basically put anything from outside in the tank if you boil it first, I use rocks and a branch that i found in my backyard.

where did you get those rocks ? They look like you got them from outside , i like it! very natural. I was told you can take rocks from outside but to boil them and then let them cool completely and then they are safe to put in . True or false ? any 1 know

Bought the rock from a landscape company. Scrubbed them and boiled them. Never had a problem with it.

The majority of the inhabitants have found new homes since this was shot. Right now there are about 20 in the tank. 10 full grown and 10 juvies.

The sand is a brand called Carribean Sea. There is one bag of black and one bag of black/white mix.

Thanks for the complements. As far as the water goes, I have an Emperor 400 with extra foam media and an AquaClear 110 on it. The lighting is a simple single bulb 32w 4' strip light.
