Colobot - Mission 7-4 game playthrough (part 5 of 5)

Video 28 (part 5) in a playthrough series of the game Colobot from Epsitec.
We've located the black box and just need to bring it on board. It is being guarded by ants and our orders prevent us from killing the ants this time. We need to develop a technology to disable the ants temporarily without harming them.
This video is quite a bit longer than normal because we create a mission-specific program to try and automate the tasks needed. You may want to skip segments 2 and 3 if you're not interested in the programming part.
Yes, I know the program could be more elegant and efficient, but I just wanted to hash something out quickly.
