Growing up where I did, I have zero resorts for anyone with a gun & a badge, but I did not know this man & refuse to speak ill of the dead. I will say that, as a dog lover, I feel more sorrow for the dog. But to come on here and degrade this mans memory when chances are you never even met him is disgraceful! If you hate all cops fine, then just take comfort in the fact you'll never encounter him. But don't come on here disrespecting someone you don't even know... What are you 7??? Grow the fuck

In 7 days it would be the 5 year anniversary of Sheriff Deputy Vernon Matthew "Matt" Williams and his K-9 partner, Diogi. May they always be remembered and never be forgotten. I am currently 15 Years old and i want to be a police officer when i grow up. Every time i hear one of these calls over the radio i get tears in my eyes. When i listened to this i realized i lost a friend, a hero and a brother. May god be with you.

They are courageous heroes, murdered in the service of their community. The officers who dealt with their murderer are also true heroes who risked their lives to apprehend him. I hope they haven't lost any sleep over what he forced them to do.
To all the officers who have posted here, I hope you know that all the negative comments in the world from irresponsible and disrespectful youtube users can't overshadow the tremendous sacrifice and valiant service of Matt Williams and his partner.
