Resident Evil 2 Playthrough: Claire A Part 01 - Intro, Kendo's Gun Shop, Through the Streets

Game: (Ps1) Resident Evil 2

The game was played off my computer (As it was only way I can record it from) using an emulation called ePSXe.

Gamepad: Xbox 360 controller(Used for both Claire A and Leon B).


The game was store bought and NOT illegaly obtained elsewhere.



This is my play through resident Evil 2 on normal and playing as Claire. I occasionally throughout the run pick up files and secrets along the way. I also cut all those annoying loading door sequences every time you go through a door.

Their are few error you might while watching. The main problem is the audio sync. The device i used to record this video tends to record into HUGE .avi files in matter of minutes, so big that windows can't keep up with recording the audio and loses a half second every so minute. so I had to do my best to manually resync the audio to the video with window movie maker. Some spots throughout playthrough might be a half second behind/ahead. (You can also credit Youtube's audio sync problems as well in some of the videos.)

Another problem I just noticed now is it seems to stall a few times throughout and or skips through bits ie opening up and closing the inventory. Let me know if you find any other problems so I can fix it and reupload the video!

Make sure your Xbox 360 controller is plugged into a USB port.

Start epsxe up, under configuration is gamepad where you can map the ps1 buttons to the 360 controller.

I just noticed something its called Raccoon City but when you look at the letters of Leon's police uniform it says R.P.D or Raccoon Police Department shouldn't it Be R.C.P.D as in Raccoon City Police Department. So wouldn't that be bad development, a small oversight, intentional, or am I just dillusional

This is when resident evil was still a great game. I think they need to get back to the basics. I'd love to play RE2 on my PS3.

if he had the duel shock verison of the game theres a cheat code for it...go to ur controller menu where u go to turn on ur auto aim...hold r1 r2 l1 l2 down at the same time then hit square untell the center turns red...
