@fueldragster On the positive side, imagine how fast they'll be flying through the turns on an all-pavement track. Hopefully it is still great to watch, but yeah I'm gonna miss the dirt, too.

I guess all the oil runoff coming from the tar and asphalt will be better for the environment than some dirt washing down the hill.

@fueldragster I highly doubt that it will actually be completed by the next year, supposedly they can only work on it for 3 months out of the year and due to the elevation they can only do like 1/2 to a mile at a time. I'm thinking more like 2015, not the originally stated date of summer 2012 by the Sierra Club.
