I'm not a fan of cricket, but baseball? Come on, that's got to be the pussiest sport in the world.
Why do you people need gloves? Does it hurt your dainty little fingers when you touch the ball? The cricket ball is heavier and is made of the same material, and cricket fielders handle it with their bare hands.
Also, you aren't even allowed to aim at the batter in baseball. What kind of shit rule is that? In cricket, you are allowed to target the batsman's head and body with bouncers.

@testingmango Why would a pitcher want to aim the ball at a batter? That would just get the batter a walk to first base, which is counterproductive for your team. They're two different sports w/ different rules. The point is to throw past the batter, over the plate, into the catcher's mitt.
Why do fencers stop after the first contact? Why do boxers stop fighting after the round ends? Your question is willfully ignorant since you're questioning baseball rules in the context of cricket.

@testingmango have u ever seen a cricket ball, if it hits on your fingers you will be out of cricket for about 3 weeks, the reason why the cricket batsman wear a gloves because when a 150 km ball hits your finger, how would that feel. how do u know that you'r allowed to target a batsman's head in cricket? the reason why the do it because when the ball is close to your face, when you hit the ball like that it'll go in the air and there are a lot of chances to get out u cant target batsman's head.
