I should remind you that at the begining of the race McCain was ahead for long while and Obama not once attacked McCain, the only concer he had was the economy and always talked about that & the health care, jobs, cutting taxes to middel class people, the things most Americans care, we are lucky if he become president, i pray he would.

I was born and rasied in the United States of America in Jersey City, NJ. I am 20 years old and an undergraduate at atop 10 school in the United States. I will be the first Muslim American Secretary of State.

Whenever I read the BBC I read of British Muslims and the racist attitudes in welfare states towards them. The question to ask is why are Muslims from the same countries in the States more successful in America than in the rest of the world. No place in the world can a Muslim be more educated, integrated, social, and free than in the United States.

I am not espousing great britain vs the US, with a vs Muslims somewhere in there.

In Islam you cannot be British, American, or even consider yourself Black and white before you are human. In that sense America fits perfectly with my faith, in a free market society we look for the best, no excuses like race or religion.

I think I might drop a vote for Obama even despite his foreign policy, just based on what this man said

Bravo! Finally someone of stature answers the "allegation" that Obama is a muslim the way it should... not that he is not a muslim, but who cares if he is or isn't! Wise, balanced, thoughtful. My only question is would Obama behave in the negative way that McCain has if he was not in the lead?

OMG I LOVE that Colin is the ONLY political/military figure (including OBama) who stated that being Muslim is not a crime. Bravo, sir! You've re-earned my respect.
