  • THe Whig Party stands for all the right ideals make it the 3rd major party

  • I AM A MODERN WHIG!

Why you say.... Because as humans we are given the opportunity to choose for ourselves. Each state of this great union is completely different. The federal government is there for Foreign and International issues that affect everyone. That being said, domestic issues are that... DOMESTIC to each state and commonwealth. We are a country of various minds and views and that, my friends, is a beautiful thing. TRUE DEMOCRACY NOW!

  • You have to realize what the drug trade represents; a black market slush fund for government and financial elites. They use this policy to destroy the population and then fund studies and policy wonks to tout legalization as a way to help stop the problem they help create, don't be fooled by it. I'm of the opinion that Marijuana should be legal, but with laws regarding consumption. For instance, I would consider it like alcohol, you can't smoke and drive, that would be considered a DUI.

  • Don't let the fake money economy dictate what's best for the longevity of the nation. Buying into neofeudalism and globalism is the exact opposite thing we should be doing with our nationalist policies. Punish cheap labor controlled by a Communist regime by raising a high tariff on foreign goods. Then get government credit issued into homes and infrastructure and let the people build their country to fulfill their happiness with liberty and justice for all.

  • @TheJoker7682 I used to think strongly that drug legalization was irresponsible, but I'm looking at the issue more-fiscally now.

The bulk of our foreign trade (and immigration) problems have their origin in the WTO and NAFTA agreements of 2000 and before. This is THE (and perhaps insurmountable) hurdle. Even if we continue to fight illegal drug trade and sale, we have to examine the punishment of drug use as it is very expensive.

  • Upon entering Jerusalem Jesus was upset to see moneychangers conducting business in his Fathers temple, and so drove them away forcefully. This seems a far cry from producing an AR-15 assault rifle and mowing those motherf-rs down.

We need a common sense approach to injustice with a modicum of critical thought. I will be watching Modern Whig Party, I will be watching.

  • I'm a member of the modern whig party and love it. I hope it becomes more popular and a major party.

  • Even though I am not a member of the party, I would definitely choose it over the two major parties.

  • I chose the party because of the way I think. I just gave a Modern Whig response to issues and they were neither extremely liberal and kooky, nor were they uber conservative and draconian. They were based on common sense and a reasonable and humane approach and worldview.

  • Drug Legalization is destructive and leaves your people dull and apathetic. We can fight drug manufacturing and treat those that fall victim to themselves and those that peddle addiction in a reasonable and humane way. Illegal immigration is illegal, so we make laws that agree with that sentiment. Foreign policy is tied to energy policy. We want out of the oil stranglehold and we will legislate accordingly to help that process along. If there is a viable threat, we will address it with logic.

  • The other major party platforms are wayward and don't represent the norm, same for other minor parties they are divisive. They represent all the interests of everyone else but americans and marginalize you if you dare say a word. So far, whig is where it's at and I will stand beside them so long as they stay true to thier own values and platform.

  • I have been sick of American politics for years now and have wanted to do something about it and become politically active but could not find a real home. Some of the third parties out there fit well but they all had one plank that was just well nuts. I am so happy to have found the Modern Whig party.
