i live in brassall and was not effected but the local high school and primary school both went under. i never got a chance to get to the center of town but holly crap. where was the last bit at?

@KoolenKat The last bit was at King Edward Parade/Blackall St, East ipswich. I live at Silkstone and was only affected by flash flooding, this is all river.

Russo hope you and your family are Ok. We are at Collingwood Park. Ipswich Motorway as you know was cut at Dinmore Goodna and Wacol. Friends of my wife lost everything at Goodna

thanks for posting.. I live in Leichhardt and had evacuate out, first day today with power was unable to know what was going on around Ipswich as I was stuck at a mates place in Bundamba. We were lucky at my place, but neighbours have lost most or everything..

I live in the USa and watched this. I realized that that is my home!! I grew up in the Ulster Hotel and my family still owns it. I had no idea the water was so high. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for this....I live in London and i am worried about my home town. Sister lives in Brassall and her house just went under. I got land in Minden and I don't even know wha'ts happening there but lucky there's not much on it.
