The first comp I ever shot featured this stage with four paper target arranged at different distances and then a popper out at 75m.

I was pretty happy to knock it down with one shot. Oh and the start position was mag inserted but not racked which is why I rack it at the start.

  • Just wondering. When I get a licence in NSW do I have to keep ammunition in a different safe or can I just keep it in with the gun?

  • If you're in NSW it just has to be locked up securely but separate to the gun. A locking tool box is good enough for ammo but the gun has to be kept in an approved safe bolted to the house.
