    Maghreb?????

It is not related to berber and it's use in what is now the basque country predates Hannibal. Nothing to do with arabic or berber. And Hannibal spoke a dialect of phoenician... whence "the Punic Wars".

    Don't just randomly assume stuff.

  • @nanako0590 ????? are you sure you're talking about Basque? Nobody's certain where Basque language comes from, what's sure is that it's not related to any living language. Basque definitely doesn't come from Maghreb - ancient Basque populations were formed by tribes coming from the Caucasus, unlike most populations in the Iberian peninsula, which did arrive there from Northern Africa.

  • No, this is basque language, comes from Maghreb, it's a kind of an arabized berber language imported during the invasion of Italy by Hannibal. It's been spoken in Nothern Spain, not too far from Africa.
