  • shit i thought he was only gonna do it once

  • That totally is a crapload of chains. I could probably crap the weight of all the chains he had on there in one defacating sitting. As for the other weight on the bar, that's freakin impressive.

  • pause at 0:13 LOL!

  • @growchronic overload at the top. makes you work harder, as you go up, the lift gets easier, so they add chains, which progressively adds to the total weight, making the easy part (the top) that little harder.

  • @daluke61 Raw is the way to go....

  • why the chains?

  • This dude goes to my gym in Memphis. Actually just saw him about an hour ago..he is beast.

  • @wtfmayhem666

I agree, particularly with respect to bench suits. They not only look ridiculous, their usage doesn't allow for examples of true, natural power and strength. Having to rely strictly on God given talent (including strong ligaments and tendons) is in my book, far more impressive. An elbow or knee wrap or weight belt, fine; anything else...cheating.

  • I hate when people wear suits, like those bench suits.. If your body can't naturally handle it and all that jazz. 'twas a pretty sweet lift tho

  • @TheTrueFortress Sorry, I may not have been clear. To reach depth in even a single ply suit, you have to be using a large amount of weight to stretch the suit. Once you are past the initial assistance of the suit, you still have to very strong to a) keep the weight moving and b) support your spine and stop the weight from crushing you! Somebody who hasn't squatted before couldn't jump in a squat suit and do 400lb....:-)

Anyway, as you say, the guy is a beast!

  • @pisswizzard

Well, of course. This guy's mega strong. But you're wrong in suggesting one has to be strong to use equipment. Why? If what you say is correct, who judges what is "strong"? Nonsense.

Anyway, my comment on gear had nothing to do with a sub-200 cat squatting 5-600 pounds for reps, raw. Clearly VERY strong. Drugs or not. Although drugs add an incredible amount to one's cababilities. Done correctly, 1--300 pounds on a compound lift, easy.

  • @TheTrueFortress Thats still a guy who weighs less than 200lb repping out 540+chains easily without seeming to break a sweat. Yes, the gear does definitely boost your squat (obviously) but you have to be strong to use it! And I hate to think what this guy could do raw at his bodyweight for a 1RM
