"the policeman will take you to jail"

This is the reason why the Q and A is so important. If I am not willing to question what I believe, lay it on the table, I could inadvertently say something that would have repercussions that I don't want.

If we are free, then we should be free to enter into any relationship. The more we say "this relationship is ok, under the law, but not that one," the larger a government there must be to enforce it. And Government doesn't like to "give up" authority.

I'm not arguing the hypothetical.

If you have 3 women you sleep around with, that's your business, but the government doesn't have to legalize that.

Sex is the icing, not the focus. If my partners and want to have a life together, why does the government need to be involved?

This is not a hypothetical situation. There are people living this way in America now. But we can't get to that issue because we can't figure out whether or not homosexual people can get married.

What the hell..? I was talking about polygamy, that is obvious.

This is ridiculous. I've already told you mine and Beck's position on gay marriage.

This debate is over.

If your position is the same as Mr. Beck's, then I think I understand...You are against it. And that is valid. But, once you bring that opinion into the idea of "governance," that opinion allows for government to disavow the "pursuit of happiness" of many.

Mr. Beck's believes government is supposed to serve the people. How can government SERVE the people, when government is in your bedroom tell you, "You can't marry this other person, even though you want to."

Please this small point in mind, this is YOUR opinion we are talking about. I am asking you some questions so I can understand it.

WE HAVEN'T EVEN STARTING DEBATING YET!!!!

"This debate is over. "

The debate never got started. But when you are ready, I will be here....waiting.

What the fuck dude? You may be one of the most annoying debaters I've known, constantly intentionally misstating my position.

I'm not against gay marriage. It should be up to each state to decide.

The gov. banning polygamy is not walking into your bedroom you pinhead. What it is is that the gov is not recognizing it as legal union(s). Nobody cares what you do in your bedroom.

If you really want a conversation ask me for my messenger or something.

I gave you his position on gay marriage, IN VIDEO...he is against it because of the "church" angle. I pointed you to the video. You said your position on the issue is the same as his. So...

"each state to decide"
This is NOT Mr. Beck's position, that I have seen. If it is your position, each State Government to decide...ok. It still seems too reckless a position for the idea of Governance.

"Nobody cares what you do in your bedroom."

I think this is a false statement. If we didn't care what people did in there bedrooms, we wouldn't talk about gay marriage. The only reason we are having a national conversation about it is because it is for gay people.

And since its a government issue, and the "polygamy" part happens in the home/bedroom.The Government is in the bedroom, or at least in the house. And that is still too much government attention.

WE ARE STILL NOT HAVING A DEBATE!

Watch the before mentioned Couric interview Beck and see for yourself.

The government can be in your bedroom only when you're doing something illegal. Orgy, sodomizing or oral isn't one of them.
