Huge Formula Renault crash at westfield - BTCC 2009

David Mcdonald crashes heavily at westfield after running wide, resulting in the car being split into two parts. The driver escaped unhurt with only a minor knee injury and was racing the next day.

Great capture...i had only just arrived at the circuit so missed this, saw the wreckage afterwards though...Did you get the fiest roll over from yesterday?

the only reason it rolled was the massive ruts caused by the most dangerous live snatch i have ever seen (thought we was going to have a JCB and fiesta struck across the circuit with a pack of fiestas coming up!)
