New things can be done though, and when we pay the money for computer upgrades or consoles then we should be getting more advanced gameplay, with the option of fully manual passing, crossing, shooting etc. (like FIFA has now). The animations and gameplay in PES 09 are just so old, the animations are robotic and the gameplay is basic. Not good enough for this generation of computers/consoles...

and games was alot better to play in 98, more fun and addictive, now its graphics graphics graphics with most games, n the gameplay is shite. PES 3 and 5s gameplay was perfect to me and alot of other ppl, so why change a good thing, i hope this has gone back to that real football gaming style

This is 2008 mate, not 1998, the gameplay has nothing a PS1 couldn't handle...

After looking at this for the third time I can see there is some big diffrences from pes 2008. Alot less space, Harder to get passed players, amazing ball physics and smooth realistic football play. If online is crisp then this will be amazing. Hopefully all the pes heads who went over to fifa out of desperation after last years mess will see the light once more.
