@AlisonMP14 Don't know if you got an answer, but the start is chain 6 stitches and join to the first first stitch using a slip stitch to form a circle.

I have never crocheted before, but I really want to make these types of beaded bracelets. I'm confused as to how to begin with what you called a 6 chain something? Is there a video you know of that I could learn that?
