[PT 05] DRUM FM Live at THE RIO LOCO FESTIVAL 2006 Toulouse Part 5 of 10

Part 05 of 10 of the DRUM FM Live INTERACTIVE SABAR-BASS-SESSION at The RIO LOCO FESTIVAL Toulouse, France, Weds June 21st 2006. [Band on stage at Midnight] The theme was Senegal and we were lucky enough to be invited to perform as apart of a line up which included such legendary figures as ORCHESTRA BAOBAO, CHEICK LO, DAAR J YOUSSOU N'DOUR + many, many more.

What follows is the improvised 1 hour+ DRUM FM set which was the Opening Night Finale. A show so hot that over 5000 people stood for nearly 40 minutes, chanting and refusing to leave until we performed an encore [which Le Gendarme refused to allow us to do]. The event organiser even going as far as to let us know that our performance was regarded as one of the highlights of the 3 day festival. An honour indeed!!

Look out for amazing performances from DRUM FM Founder and Legendary Drummer, Producer, Arranger MARQUE GILMORE - alongside Chronic Music Partner, DJ, Producer and FX head The Electro-Tribalist JAZZHEADCHRONIC MICKEY SMITH, Malian Master Musician and Sallif keitah producer CHEICK TIDIANE SECK, Balafon and African Master Drummer SECKOU KEITAH, Jamojamoarts Founder, Master Drummer and Dancer LANDING MANE, as well as ALIOU on Dun Dun and Ridiculously talented HILAIRE PENDANT ripping up the Bass.

The first 90secs of the video give props to the sponsor, followed by the band introduction, then we are off. Performing a mixed bag of DRUM DM + CULTURE CHRONIC joints on a wholly tip!
