@burnsroolz Yes, the Alastair McD authorship issue was brought to their attention one year ago. Am disappointed it seems to have been ignored. Actually, as you might know, Alastair's OWN recording of C/Harvest is brill; but alas the person who posted the clip on Y/Tube (referred to in my comment below, a year ago) later took it down! If you have access to a good clip of Alastair's recording, I'd be VERY glad to post it in my channel. Maybe it could be shared here, too?

You might like to watch a clip of Alastair McDonald's own performance of "Culloden's Harvest", which he wrote. (The song is often wrongly attributed to Deanta, or otherwise wrongly thought to be "traditional". But in fact it was written by Alastair, who is still very much alive & performing regularly around Scotland today!) Alastair's peformance can be viewed through my favourites, or through the uploads of Alastair's work on Treblestring & Camfind channels. Enjoy!

Great song, and this rendition of it has a lot of potential, but it sort of got lost in the poor recording. Keep performing, it's beautiful.
