My latest looped doodle animation, done using my Wacom Bamboo tablet and the awesome free Pencil software. This animation is 82 frames that contain dozens of animation fragments that are chaotically arranged throughout the video.

Looping was done by taking a copy of the final frame and placing it on a temporary layer, which allowed me to treat it as if it was the "frame zero" onion skin for frame 1 (I don't think Pencil has any built-in method for creating loops at present -- a feature I hope they add).

Hope everyone likes it, check out my blog at zentastic.com and my Youtube channel for more animations and projects.

  • How do you copy a frame?

  • I can't take in enough of it in one play!

    Nicely done.
