  • Use of the S. crispa this way is only an idea - there is no evidence to support its effectiveness. On the other hand, Sulfur tuft - Hypholoma fasciculare - while not as exciting due to being non-edible/poisonous, actually has been shown in field trials to 'inoculate' against Armillaria.

  • Trametes versicolor may be even better, I also understand that Sparassis is lesser of the two parasitic evils, not as widespread or aggressive.

Thank you for your insight...I will check into it.

  • Armiraialla has a very power mycellium........I heard also that it may be the largest organism on the planet.

  • yeah, i heard itt covered over 2,200 acres. It is pretty incredible.

  • thx for the close up

  • exactly.... on QI (British TV show "Quite Interesting") they said the largest living organism on earth is a 8.000 year old honey mushroom in the Wallowa National Forest in Oregon (as you said: over 2,200 acres)... I tried to add a clip from QI where they mention this as a video response to your upload... I think, I didn't manage... ;-)

  • 6th LOL....
