Here is the portable ops team from HADARC - the Hornsby and Districts Amateur Radio Club in Sydney, New South Wales. We camped out on Mount Tomah in the Blue Mountains (Friday night, Saturday all day and Sunday until the afternoon). The idea was to make as many contacts as possible on the VHF, UHF and higher frequency bands. You will notice Justin and his trailer-mounted dish antenna, which is powered by a cute little Yaesu FT-817 ND QRP ham radio. How does he make it transmit at 23cms, and even 3 cms in the licensed Ham Bands? By connecting it to a radio frequency transverter he built himself!
Damn.
You know how hard it is to get a "decent" Podcast on Amateur Radio. Then you guys do this. Good one. Saw Rod VK2DAY, Peter VK2TTP, Steve VK2???, Paul VK2FMAM, other Paul VK2???. And others I didn't know, sorry. Didn't see Alex, wait there, no one's ever see's Alex. Seriously, HAM Radio need more decent HQ Video. Thankyou Rod VK2DAY, "again". Been told not to use Flouro's at Field Days. RF interference. Obviously you can. Keep up the good work.....

@MrBushwacker1976 Nope, I didn't use an HD videocam. Instead I used a Flip Mino, early model, with no HD, The file size is smaller and easier to upload. And the quality is perfect for Youtube. I don't even use my HD videocam any more. It's too much trouble as far as I'm concerned. 73 David vk2dmh.
