During the Keene NH 2010 Pumpkin Festival, a mix of local law enforcement forced a local cub scout group to shutdown their fundraiser. They were on private property exactly has they had done the previous 4 years.

After setting the cub scouts strait, they moved on to shut down a bake sale fund raiser for the local homeless shelter.

COP CRIMES Weekly Roundup -- All of these events occurred just in the last week (October 6-12, 2010)

These are only the reported incidents; the vast majority go unreported. The frequency of cop crimes is similar every week. Do the numbers. It is not just a "few bad apples"; the barrel is rotten. • i never wanna go to Keen! asshol* police!

  • @oneluvpitbull Yes, when the seller of the food has been found guilty, they are responsible for all incurred cost...that means medical treatment too!

  • @oneluvpitbull Why do you need a permit? Do you need a permit to cook for your family? NO! Permits and licensing are ways to prevent crimes and raise money 4 the state. Just because you have a permit does not mean people will not get sick, it does nothing to prevent people from becoming sick. Only when someone gets sick should action be taken against the person who sold the food and then investigate why they got sick. Was the person who sold the food the one that contaminated it?

  • Oh brother. What a bunch of assholes. It is for a fucking charity for cryin' out loud. I'm a midwesterner and after seeing this shit I guarantee if I am ever out east again I will NEVER attend a Pumkin Fucking Festival within the entire state of Vermont. Come to think of it, I do believe I shall just stay out of that shitty Fascist place all together. I've lived in the Chicago area my entire life and have never seen anything like this happen and I've been old we're assholes.

  • This is absolutely horrible.

  • @LibertyRapsher I think you missed my point. The reason there are guidelines for food distribution is because lets face it, there are some pretty gnarley food contaminates that are extremely dangerous.

Now, if that non profit were to unknowingly distribute contaminated food that got 50+ people bed ridden for a week in a hospital, where would they come up with the money to pay the medical bills for the homeless? They wouldn't... Medicaid would.

  • Give us a cut of the action or we'll breaka your legsa! Just like the criminal gang they are.

It's been determined the people don't need your services anymore, they're free to go home & destroy their own lives if that's what they choose, just stop screwing up everyone else's. If they leave now, the people won't even sue for damages, that's how badly the people want the police services gone. Unfortunately the police work for the gov. & not the people or that's what would happen.

  • @oneluvpitbull food distributed with a permit is just as likely to be contaminated. Such a ludicrous argument!!!

And if you are raising money, you aren't going to get too many customers or repeat customers, in conjunction with a bad reputation if you are making people sick. How can an unaccountable entity like government, know what's best for someone who's directly accountable for their actions?

The gov. is a criminal organization that want's to steal a cut of the action.

  • ask the ACLU if you should be careful

    that prick cop

  • @oneluvpitbull then they would have made the issue public safety not public land use. as it its not right
