simple irish tune in standard. 2nd fret D chord while playing 5th fret(open) 3rd fret(open) and 2nd fret(open) on the high e string while holding the D chord. figured that out one smoky night. sounds real jiggy i think

I think that if you want to play and get this type of sound ,may be you should try playing an irish citern . i think that you would get the sound and play ability that you are looking for on guitar.

U ppl are fucking retarded. Im FROM Dublin, Ireland. That is Irish style guitar. everything from the DADGAD tuning to the fast strums. It actually sounds like an old song by the Dubliners. It doesnt have to be exactly the same as every Irish Folk song or Jig style song. They all have their own sound.
