I developed WalkJogRun.net in 2003 to help me work out how far I was running. Late in July 2005 I upgraded it to pull Google Maps instead of requiring you to upload your own and the site took off. The site sees over 1,000 visitors a day contributing routes to the running community. It's not exclusively runners - we have walkers, cyclists, inline skaters and even some open water swimmers!
Nancy Loo covered the site on Jan 3rd this year on Fox News Chicago - this is the video.

Awesome to see the mainstream media finally pick up on this site! I use WalkJogRun all the time and always add a route in cities I'm visiting when traveling for business! :) Nice work Adam!
Thanks Mike. Over the next month or so, expect to see some more features added like training logs so you can analyze your training and export the results to Excel so you can make your own graphs if ours don't cut it!
