We just recieved a baby blue jay from my aunt...she got it from some person who took the baby (WHO WAS FLEDGING) If you ever see a bird WITH feathers and is almost mature looking, it is FLEDGING so do NOT PICK IT UP!!!

  • @InfernoLarka we released it 2-3 months ago. What i did what i put a plate of veggies out like corn, lima beans, peas, etc., and i tried to give him worms. if there are birdfeeders around your area, then you can try to get him to eat seeds. After he flew around and we didn't have enough space, we set him free. put out his favorite food every day and some water. he'll get around fine!

  • @yougottalovemordecai We fed her seeds.....ect.

  • How long did it take before you were able to release it? Or were you able to release it at all? I've been raising a baby bluejay, and he's just about to that real-flying stage. I'm planning on releasing him soon, but I'm worried that he won't know how to get food for himself. Any tips?
