Installing a Williamson Ram Pump from New Zealand to irrigate a strawberry farm in Cambodia. The ram pump uses water power from seven meters of head to drive a lesser amount of water up a pipe to a water tank on top of a hill sixty-eight meters above the pump. No motor or power is required...just the mechanics of water pressure going into the ram pump. This is how it is possible to pump water up hill 24/7 with no need of power. The pump is delivering 50,000 liters or 12,500 gallons of irrigation water per day.
