@BlairSupporter I think he acted in a very brave and honest way - unlike those who attack him over Iraq. He is the sort of person I would like to have as a friend - although not as prime minister!

@BlairSupporter I did not vote for him and I think that the Labour government messed up the economy but there are two things worth pointing out. One wonders where the opinions of those that attack him over Iraq would be on the case of Hitler for example who we allowed to get away with it. No-one ever considers the victims of Saddam Hussein. The second is on the crisis. No-one knew how to deal with it and no-one forecast it therefore no rule books exist. Therefore what else could be done?

A low-life lack of humanity to others & lack of any political understanding of the responsibilities of leadership- it all shines through their hate-filled opinions. This is compounded by 'haters' self-serving pretence at caring about people they never knew existed or ever cared about - before Tony Blair intervened to save them from their dictatorial murdering leader - Saddam.

Thank you for this. I am sick & tired of the inhuman lambasting that Tony Blair gets from those who seem to honestly believe that he is some kind of monster. Disagree with his policy/ies if you will. But don't make out that because of that disagreement the man is evil. He isn't. Very, very far from it. He is a hero to millions, and, what is more, he is a particularly good man.
