My brief review of the Mini Maglite 3W LED AA from MAGLITE. This takes 2AA batteries and outputs 69 lumens, the batteries last for a very long time and it is extremely bright! (It is Anodized Aluminium by the way, not titanium)

@ChrisXn777 Hey - it is a bit odd, if you do it quickly i.e. on -> twist back -> on -> twist back it goes between modes (100%, 25% blink, SOS) but if you do it slowly i,e, on -> twist back (wait about 5 seconds) -> on it goes onto 100% every time. Hope this helps :)

Hi, thanks for posting!
I'm a tad confused, u said it reset yet u said if you go back to the beginning, and restart it, it goes to the next mode - 25%
Hmmm....
I want it to start on 100% pretty much all the time, will it do that?
Tks!

@benny5825 I love the big 6Ds because they can double up as a defensive tool/general hard piece of metal for hitting things in emergency situations. I haven't tried any of the X range though, sorry. I am hoping to get a 2D/3D Cell LED Mag soon so I will probably post a video when I do!

@benny5825 I have owned a few mags over the years, as have friends and other family members and I suppose I just stick with the brand because I find them extremely reliable and durable. I realise that they are probably not the most reliable, most durable or cheapest but I will admit that there is a slight sense of brand loyalty at play.

What made you choose a mag over another make?
