You are correct. I think if not for Pan Am's merger with National and its excessive number of 747s, then the golden carriage would still be Pan Am's.

  • On a golden carriage that once belonged to Pan Am.

  • At the end of the commercial you see the incomparable Boeing 747 in flight. United still uses it on many trans-Pacific flights (actually the 747-400), however they use the longer-ranger Boeing 777 on flights to Japan from Seattle.

  • i WISH THEY WOULD FLY FROM NY JFK!

  • I want Manila on United's route map with the 777 unless they modify the 747 coach cabin

  • Are you or your family Filipino?

  • I'd totally love to have UA return to MNL as well! My mom originally flew Pan Am and then United after they inherited PA's Pacific network. Nowadays I'm w/ NW but I really miss flying the airline that made me the plane nut I am to my parents' home country...

  • Do you speak Tagalog?

Alam mo ba? Makatumanggap ka ng mga Mileage Plus points sa Singapore, Asiana, at Thai dahil may alliance sila sa United. Sina Singapore, Asiana, at Thai nililipad sa Manila.

  • If United will ever serve the Philippines again, which is my homeland, I'll make sure that I'll get on board, since I'm also a Mileage Plus member.
