I bought a used Lepton Oxygen that was originally sold by Zap World in Santa Rosa. It needs a new tube and I couldn't get the tire off. A repair shop in Santa Clara called and Zap World said to call Italy, that they wouldn't support the scooter, even though they sold it. Anyone know who would work on the scooter in California? Never buy anything from Zap World!

I would love to get one of the lithium conversions but for $1600 that's not going to happen.

Taking the controller apart would have been my next step. But the drying and WD40 did the trick. Still have your original batteries? I have three of the four European batteries from 2001. The other went to zero volts -- replaced with a used UPS battery for $25 -- Was lucky to find that. It actually carries about a tenth of a volt more than the original three. I have desulfated the remaining three several times now.

the problem is ur controller for ur motor or ur motor id recoment if u got a brushless go for a crystele light controller there vary good
Did you ever get it fixed? My Lepton acted strangely one day, more or less the same, when I got water into the controller with a pressure washer. Dried it out with moderate heat and air and then sealed the wire loom with silicone. Problem hasn't recurred. I think the gray wire from the motor is sensor data.

I took apart the controller and put it back together and it started working again. Very mysterious. I think some component might have a loose soldering connection. I rarely use it nowadays. But it hasn't given me a problem since then (about 100 miles driven since then).
